Leading UK tech retailer Currys invests in a fleet of German Bionic power suits to support its workers

The day-to-day physical work at UK’s leading tech retailer, Currys, has just become safer and more efficient. As of immediately, a whole fleet of German Bionic Cray X exoskeletons will support the work of colleagues involved in manual handling tasks, helping to putting less pressure on their joints and muscles while lifting heavy loads and significantly contributing to workplace injury prevention.

With this move, Currys is investing over £250,000 in the health and wellbeing of workers in its state-of-the-art facility in Newark from which around 8.7 million units of stock will be delivered to all 309 of its stores this Black Friday period alone.
